About me

Thanks so much for stopping by my shop! I’m Lilli, a poet and visual artist with a thing for memory collection. After graduating high school in Whitehorse, Yukon, I moved to Nova Scotia and spent a year exploring the east coast before venturing to BC for further study. As of this year, I’ve completed my arts program, and am so grateful for each day that I get to spend creating and supporting myself as an artist.

About my poetry book

From What I Remember is a collection of poetry from my adolescence to early adulthood. It recounts adventures big and small, from driving my first car, to moving to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The book focuses on memory collection and finding home, and touches on mental health and letting go. I hope to validate others in their experiences through sharing some of my own in this (mostly) lighthearted collection of the things I hope to remember.

The beautiful cover art for my book was made by Willow Star, who can be found on Instagram at @ifanyoneasksitsart

As this book touches on issues surrounding mental health, there are definitely pieces that could be triggering for some people. Contact me if you are apprehensive, as I would be more than happy to go through and let you know exactly which pages contain sensitive subjects. Generally, the book references derealization/dissociation, but again if you have specific triggers please contact me and I will help you navigate the book safely.
